Over-the-Road (OTR) CDL-A Truck Driver

Refrigerated Freight | Up to $100,000 Annualized Earnings | $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

We are seeking an experienced Over-the-Road CDL-A Truck Driver to transport fresh and frozen food products in refrigerated trailers from distribution centers in the Midwest to grocery distributors throughout the United States.

This position is ideal for a professional driver who is comfortable with extended OTR travel, mountain driving, changing weather conditions, and a schedule that includes frequent weekly layovers.

Drivers will transport refrigerated freight throughout a multi-state network, including:

WA, OR, CA, AZ, NM, CO, KS, TX, MN, NE, WI, IA, IL, IN, TN, MO, OH, MI, KY, PA, NC, SC, VA, GA, FL, NY, NJ, and MA.

The account will make every effort to route drivers primarily through the Midwest and Southwest
, but drivers must be willing to operate in any state required by customer demand.

• Combination of single-stop and multi-stop deliveries
• Trailers are preloaded, except for backhaul pickups
• Customers perform live unloading at delivery locations
• Average customer unload time is approximately 3 hours
• Drivers are responsible for picking up assigned backhauls
• Drivers may be required to assist other DCS/JBI accounts as operational needs arise

This is a true OTR position requiring schedule flexibility.

• Work 6 consecutive days
  , followed by a 34-hour reset
• Must be available to work any six days based on customer needs
• Approximately 2-3 resets per month will occur over the road
• Approximately 1-2 resets per month will occur at home
• Typical start times: 4:00 AM-9:00 AM
• Average workday:
  11-13 hours
• Average 5 layovers per week

Candidates must be prepared for the demands associated with year-round OTR refrigerated transportation.

• Must be willing and able to install tire chains when weather conditions require
• Must be comfortable driving through mountain passes
• Must be willing to travel throughout the account's full operating territory
• Must be able to accommodate extended periods away from home
• Must meet all applicable CDL, DOT, safety, and company qualification requirements

Training takes place in Ogden, Utah.

• Travel to Ogden will be provided by CDP
• Hotel accommodations will be provided during training
• Training will include over-the-road driving
• Hotel accommodations will be provided for training layovers
• New-hire training pay: $200 per day
• Paid online orientation

• $10,000 sign-on bonus for a limited time
• Drivers in this position during the previous 6-12 months have achieved annualized earnings of approximately $100,000
• Holiday pay: $200 per day
• Onsite management and account support

Actual earnings may vary based on miles, loads, route assignments, availability, operational needs, and other compensation factors.
