Position: Logistics Technician: Registry & Inventory Advocate (PRN)

2‑Bin Inventory Management

  • Maintain all assigned 2‑Bin inventory locations, ensuring items are placed in the correct bin, the room remains organized and orderly, and the 2‑Bin standard is adhered to.
  • Pick and pull scheduled inventory to replenish locations at 100% accuracy.
  • Deliver 2‑Bin replenishment orders to the appropriate location.
  • Restock 2‑Bins with items, perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Check for expired products, replace with appropriate items, and adjust counts through cycle counts.
  • Perform supplement restocks when requested.
  • Pick up empty bins and returned products; return them to General Stores and stage for credit with correct paperwork.
  • Conduct monthly 2‑Bin inventory of designated locations or as assigned.
  • Use Demand Track regularly to assess inventory velocity and usage, and recommend PAR adjustments to the Supply Chain leader.
Receiving and Delivery Chain‑of‑Custody Automation
  • Utilize automation for all General Stores cycle counts scheduled by the Supply Chain Leader.
  • Use the receiving and distribution chain‑of‑custody automation to document inbound shipments and outbound General Stores issues.
  • Pick, issue, deliver, credit, and administer all General Stores products—including crash carts, inventory carts, and other applicable items—using the designated automation.
General Stores Maintenance and Inventory Management
  • Gather and remove all product delivery skids and debris in the General Stores environment.
  • Rotate inventory using a first‑expired‑first‑out approach and register expired products according to the Non‑Compliant Policy.
  • Manage inventory locations, valuations, cycle counts, days‑on‑hand levels, overstock, and obsolete inventory.
  • Maintain housekeeping: clean floors, remove debris, dispose of unassigned items after approval, and keep surfaces spotless.
  • Perform cycle counts with an error rate of ≤5% and analyze root causes for corrective action.
  • Maintain a trend chart of total inventory valuation monthly and report observations to the Supply Chain Director.
  • Continuously improve inventory processes to meet or exceed reduction targets.
Receiving
  • Perform receiving functions for all incoming orders.
  • Review orders for accuracy and correlate to purchase orders and ship‑to locations.
  • Identify quality issues and errors in incoming shipments.
Distribution
  • Manage inventory and pick processes for requisitioned items, maintaining no more than five days on hand unless approved otherwise.
  • Pick and deliver requisitioned orders, capturing signatures and delivery confirmations via barcode scanning.
  • Handle non‑compliant products in green bins, transport them back to General Stores, and log them in the online database.
  • Return all General Stores equipment used for distribution to the storage area when use is complete.
Picking
  • Pick a minimum of 100 lines per hour and never fewer than 60 lines per hour, inclusive of travel and replenishment time.
  • Ensure pick accuracy and maintain the cycle‑count error rate within acceptable limits.
  • Maintain and update a trend chart of cycle‑count error rates on the Quality Board.
  • Utilize designated picking automation, tag products, release orders with Lawson WH32.2, and sign paperwork.
  • Follow the velocity‑picking format to optimize inventory utilization.
Non‑Conforming Policy and Procedure Management
  • Analyze non‑conforming product incident rates by SKU and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain green bins, placards, and laminated job aids.
  • Rotate inventory with a first‑expired‑first‑out approach.
  • Remove non‑conforming product, transport it to General Stores, and enter it into the non‑conforming product log.
Education and Experience

Education/Experience

Required:

High School diploma.

Preferred experience:

12 months in stocking and/or receiving roles.

Knowledge of mainframe or PC computer systems.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For lifts over 35 pounds, use lifting equipment or assistance from another associate. Additional lifting/movement situations will be assessed individually.
