• Review and analyze stock inaccuracies and guarantee accurate stock alignment between SAP and the warehouse management system based on available information among stakeholders.
• Analyze and verify capacity utilization, performance and KPI monitoring, and introduce corrective measures in case of missing KPIs and the need to reduce additional capacity.
• Work with our service providers to ensure the delivery of our trading partners in terms of punctuality and completeness, taking into account quality and HACCP guidelines.
• Monitor inbound, outbound, co-packing, warehousing and distribution activities to ensure shelf-life monitoring and management, support reduction of write-offs and constantly look for opportunities to improve productivities.
• Conduct project-related and ad hoc tasks, especially in connection with continuous improvement projects and tenders and peak management.
• Build and provide full-cost analysis (yearly budget), identify risks and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Communicate effectively with carriers, brokers, and internal departments regarding shipments.
• Follow up on driver appointments.
• Schedule carrier appointments.
• Build outbound loads.
• Receive inbound packaging shipments that arrive on shift.
• Maintain inventory of warehouse supplies.
• Transfer products between bakery and offsite warehouses.
• Keep accurate records of what is on trailers stored in the yard.
• Handle donation, take‑home, and animal feed shipments.
• Work with inventory clerks to ensure all expired packaging is disposed of according to protocol.
• Handle inbound packaging shipments, ensure they are received correctly, systematically follow up on errors and provide resolutions.
• Provide support to warehouse operators on shift.
• Ensure trucks depart in a timely manner; if not, communicate with appropriate parties.
• Operate telehandler on the shipping side for loading/unloading, or as requested from other departments.
• Perform any additional clerical duties for shipping offices.

• Experience with Microsoft applications, especially highly experienced with Excel.
• Enjoys teamwork.
• Experience in logistics operations, procurement, or supply chain functions as an asset.

• Provide training on warehouse equipment.
• Receiving, warehouse control and inventory control.
• Participating in scheduled warehouse inventories.
• Receiving items in the warehouse.

• Operate forklifts in the warehouse and factory.
• Place materials in the proper warehouse location.
• Operate all lifts utilized within the warehouse.
• Inspect physical condition of warehouse and equipment.
• Maintain warehouse security at all times.
• Manage the flow through the warehouse to the customer.
• Maintain a clean work environment in the warehouse area.
• Improve overall efficiency and functionality of the warehouse.
• Pull in delivery trucks and lock up warehouse.
• Inspect for damage and leaks.
• Manage inventory locations within the warehouse.
• Assist with shipping and receiving functions in the warehouse.
