Job DescriptionIn this role, you will support Maintenance Stores operations by performing inventory control and materials tracking activities within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include identifying electrical equipment, verifying materials, and conducting accurate part counts across production areas. This position reports directly to the Stock Room Supervisor.
Hours
- 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday - Friday) Onsite
Plus, Overtime as Needed.

The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $36,100 - $45,100. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintaining inventory count accuracy and item records for all parts and materials being stored.
- Locating items using inventory records.
- Updating item location and other inventory information.
- Assist with performing physical inventory count.
- Maintain 5S (Sort, Simplify, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards.
- Follow Standard Work Documents.
What you’ll Need To Succeed:
- Computer and data entry skills. Microsoft Excel and Word experience.
- Mathematical, mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- 1+ years of experience with shipping/receiving or related experience. Fundamental computer skills, Microsoft Excel and Word.
Education:
- High school diploma
Major Physical Demands:
- Standing: 50 to 60% of the tasks are performed in a standing position.
- Lifting:
Frequent lifting of items in range of 1 lb. to 40 lbs. - Walking:
Occasional walking of moderate distances (less than 1/4 mile). - Carrying:
Frequent carrying of items ranging in weight from 5 lbs. to 25 lbs. - Pushing:
Occasional use of hand truck to move parts a moderate distance or to restock inventory items. - Pulling:
Occasional use of hand truck to move parts a moderate distance or to restock inventory items. - Bending:
Frequent bending and crouching required during the storage and disbursement of parts. - Reaching:
Full range of motion from above the shoulders to below the knees. - Handling:
Frequent handling of parts of various sizes along with a variety of hand tools. - Other: 10 - 50% of time entering data using computer keyboard.
