Position OverviewThe Warehouse & Fleet Coordinator plays a critical role in keeping our technicians equipped and our fleet operating at peak performance. This position is responsible for daily warehouse operations, inventory management, fleet coordination, and tracking the maintenance of company vehicles and heavy equipment.
Success in this role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while ensuring our field operations have the tools and equipment they need every day.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations- Receive, inspect, organize, and stock incoming materials and inventory.
- Pick, stage, and distribute materials for technicians and installation teams.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inventory counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate material transfers between warehouse and field personnel.
- Assist with vendor deliveries and returns.
- Ensure critical inventory levels are maintained.
- Maintain detailed records for all company vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, repairs, inspections, licensing, and registrations.
- Track vehicle mileage, maintenance history, and equipment utilization.
- Schedule repairs with vendors to minimize downtime.
- Monitor fleet condition and identify maintenance issues before they become larger problems.
- Coordinate the assignment, tracking, and return of company equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation for warranties, service records, and inspections.
- Support field teams with equipment availability and logistics.
- Work closely with operations and dispatch to ensure technicians are properly equipped.
- Track missing or damaged equipment and coordinate replacements.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- 3+ years of warehouse, fleet, logistics, or operations experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating vehicle maintenance or equipment management is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers and learning inventory or fleet management software.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Takes ownership and follows through.
