LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor - Manufacturing Industry to join their team. You will lead receiving, inventory control, and storeroom operations at its expanding production facility. This position offers strong visibility within the organization and future growth potential, including expanded leadership responsibilities within warehousing and logistics operations.

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee all receiving and storeroom activities. This individual will lead a small team responsible for inventory accuracy, material flow, receiving operations, replenishment activities, safety compliance, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will bring warehouse leadership experience within a manufacturing environment and possess strong inventory management, ERP, and material handling expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse & Inventory Management:
  • Direct daily warehouse, storeroom, and receiving operations.
  • Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and movement of raw materials and inventory.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and inventory control processes.
  • Oversee replenishment activities supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Manage FIFO inventory practices and material rotation.
  • Monitor inventory variances and coordinate corrective actions.
Leadership & Team Development:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse and receiving personnel.
  • Assign daily workloads and establish operational priorities.
  • Conduct training, performance management, and employee development activities.
  • Foster a safe, accountable, and teamwork-oriented culture.
Receiving & Material Flow:
  • Oversee inbound shipments, unloading, material verification, and receiving activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation and system transactions are accurately completed.
  • Coordinate inspection and processing of incoming materials.
  • Manage internal material movements and workflow requirements.
  • Support return material processes and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Implement best practices for inventory control and material handling.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and production teams to streamline workflows.
  • Drive initiatives that increase accuracy, safety, and operational performance.
Safety & Compliance:
  • Promote and enforce safe work practices throughout warehouse operations.
  • Ensure proper use of forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety procedures and warehouse standards.
  • Support a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of warehouse, storeroom, or inventory management experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading warehouse teams and improving operational performance.
  • Experience with ERP systems; AS400 experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience using RF scanning technology.
  • Forklift and material handling equipment experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and replenishment systems.
  • Experience supporting lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Compensation Range:

$65,000 - $75,000 + 3% Bonus
