Hourly, Inventory Control Clerk
This full time position is responsible for shipping, receiving, handling, storing, and keeping accurate inventory records for all goods and products at the DMC warehouse location. This position will also prepare goods for shipping, either to other DMC locations and wholesale customers. This role also includes set up and breakdown of DMC assets for events. Lifting up to 75lbs is required.
This role’s responsibilities may change based on operational needs.
The Inventory Control Clerk position is hourly non-exempt, with a pay rate of $18.00/hr after 90 days, Baristas are eligible for comprehensive health insurance that includes medical, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, STD/LTD, and voluntary life insurance. Organization- Green coffee and non-coffee goods are organized effectively with clear identifiers
- Effectively communicates, and gets approval, by appropriate parties when goods are moved, consolidated or re-organized
- Effective use of a signout sheets when transporting goods
- Regular end of week reports on state of the warehouse, misc tasks and upcoming projects
- Segregate products by weekly, monthly and quarterly inventory counts as delegated by appropriate management
- Effectively navigate spreadsheets for inventory data input
Organizing with appropriate managers a par system of goods when necessary - Reporting on low inventory of items
- Receiving products and goods ordered by all DMC departments,
- Controlling inventory and distribution book keeping of dry goods in Shopify
- Assists in receiving containers, barrel tasks and bag runs
- Regular inspection of company assets and facilities overseeing regular maintenance when necessary
- Regular deliveries of goods to production departments when needed. Driving a DMC delivery truck as needed.
- Regular cleaning procedures of the warehouse
- Effectively and safely operate a forklift. Scheduling maintenance as required
- Misc. tasks will be assigned when needs from events and catering arise
