Job Summary
Crew Member – Carry out daily assignments and provide the crew leader with assistance.
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily.
- Participate in tailgate safety briefings and applicable trainings.
- Communicate with supervisor about pre‑suppression needs for each working location.
- Patrol working locations for potential fire ignitions.
- Prepare to initiate fire suppression tactics until relieved by local resources.
- Firefighter Type2 (Federal) – Complete S-130/S-190/I-100/L-180 training.
- Pass work capacity fitness test (pack test).
- Complete Annual RT-130 training.
NOTE:
Not required for first year FF2. Become certified as an FFT
