Air Reserve Technician (ART) Expediter

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) expediter exercising technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing direct aircraft maintenance activities in the accomplishment of unit flying schedules and maintenance plans, to assign priorities to aircraft production work, direct actions to resolve resource shortages in an Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) and to train reservists in the duties and responsibilities set forth herein.

Responsible for the integrated production required to support permanently assigned and transient aircraft, as required.

Duties:

• Performs work planning responsibilities.
• Performs work direction responsibilities.
• Performs administrative responsibilities.

• Reserve Training:
  Administers the reserve training and associated programs for the shift ensuring consistent standards throughout the section for traditional reservists and ARTs.
