Janitor - Alt Shift

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a Janitor to join their team. As a Janitor, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate diligence, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Chillicothe, MO

Pay Range: $19.5

Shift: 5:00PM - 1:30AM

• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, dock areas, freezer zones, and break rooms using hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners.
• Remove refuse from the building and office areas daily, ensuring trashcans are emptied and sanitized.
• Clean and sanitize break rooms and work spaces to uphold hygiene standards.
• Repair damage to pallets and assist with relocating and adjusting office furniture as needed.
• Ensure pest control systems are functioning properly and report any issues to supervisors.

• High school diploma or GED, with at least three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Problem‑solving skills for routine issues.
• Understanding of safety rules, procedures, and diagrams.
• Physical ability to handle cleaning tools, stand, walk, and reach frequently, and perform occasional climbing, stooping, or crouching.
