Maintenance Technician Scioto Woods I & II – Chillicothe, OH

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at Scioto Woods I & II in Chillicothe, Ohio. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work, provides excellent customer service, and is committed to maintaining a safe, attractive, and well‑maintained community for our residents.

• Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.
  
  - 5:00 p.m.
• Participation in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours maintenance emergencies is required.

• Perform interior and exterior repairs to apartment homes, buildings, common areas, and grounds.
• Complete apartment turns and prepare vacant units for new residents.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building maintenance issues.
• Respond to maintenance service requests promptly and professionally.
• Inspect completed work and coordinate with outside contractors as needed.
• Assist with grounds maintenance, seasonal duties, and snow removal when necessary.
• Maintain maintenance equipment, tools, and shop in a clean and organized condition.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies and applicable safety regulations.
• Provide courteous, professional service to residents, vendors, and team members.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school or an associate degree in a related field is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record required.
• Two years of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and fellow employees.
• Must provide your own basic hand tools required to perform apartment maintenance.
