Position: Maintenance Technician (On-Site)

Maintenance Technician (On‑Site)

Full‑time position with Fairgrove Property Management, Irvine, CA. Immediate start. Remote/telecommute options available.

Position Details

• Experience required: 2+ years in property management or a related field


Location:

On‑site (remote/telecommute options available)


Working hours:

40 hours per week
• Compensation: $25.00–$27.00 per hour
• Benefits:

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the upkeep of one building with 175 units.
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on properties and within units.
  • Repair or replace floors, ceilings, walls, siding, doors, windows, and other building components.
  • Maintain accurate daily maintenance records and action items.
  • Interact professionally with vendors, suppliers, team members, and residents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and timely communication.
  • Respond to emergency and routine service requests, including after‑hours calls.
  • Assist with turnover and make‑ready tasks for vacant units.
  • Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash when needed.
  • Utilize computers, tablets, and smartphones to track work orders and process applications.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by management.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field with customer service experience.
  • Strong knowledge of computers and technology, including cloud‑based software and applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and accountable.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Dependable transportation and ability to travel between properties.
  • Must provide own tools for maintenance work orders.
