Supervisor, Park Quality (Part-Time, Sesame Place Chula Vista)

• supervise and develop an assistant business unit supervisor and the grounds maintenance team. Primary focus is to maximize park presentation through efficiency and effectiveness of work while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• execute common tasks for grounds maintenance including: general cleaning, pressure washing, hosing down, sweeping, blow-pack blowing, and miscellaneous grounds maintenance.
• ensure proper training and compliance with department scheduling, time-keeping, small engine use, ppe, and cleaning chemicals.
• enforce all safety, park, and department policies at all times.
• responsible for team member compliance and development
• coordinate park cleaning schedule with other departments to satisfy work requests and minimize disruption of operation.
• assist with other duties as needed.

• must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• must have minimum of 5 years supervisory experience, grounds maintenance experience preferred
• knowledge of pressure washing application and small engine use preferred
• excellent communication skills
• high school diploma/ged
• valid drivers license

• this is a seasonal role
• during the peak season, must have 5 days of unrestricted availability, to include the weekends
• you must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• the sesame place season runs from march 2026 through labor day 2026, with onboarding and all required training to be completed prior to the start of the season.
• hours may fluctuate based on business need; may be scheduled up to 40 hours weekly.
