We're hiring a data-driven accountant for an integral position on our team. You’ll keep our general ledger up-to-date, ensure the accuracy of our financial information, support HR payroll functions, and use Quick Books for tracking. Candidates should be experienced problem-solvers, well-organized, detail-oriented, and time-efficient.

Responsibilities
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Process payroll and ensure accurate recording of employee compensation
  • Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes

  • Manage payroll duties to ensure employees are paid on time and accurately
  • Conduct financial analysis for work centers, identify cost trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during annual audits
  • Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements
  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable in a timely manner

    Ensure transactions are recorded properly in all ledgers
  • Complete bookkeeping duties:
    Data entry and record maintenance
Qualifications
  • Experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the logistics industry.
  • Ability to perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Proven track record of assisting in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Proficiency in processing payroll and ensuring accurate employee compensation records.
  • Strong skills in managing accounts payable and ensuring timely invoice payments.
  • Experience in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting purposes, enhancing team synergy and accuracy in financial reporting processes.
Compensation

$60,000 - $65,000
