Role OverviewReporting to the Vice President, Oncology, International Marketing and Commercial Operations, this role will help shape and advance Abb Vie’s Oncology portfolio maximization strategy. The position will champion strategic initiatives, strengthen Oncology operations, and deliver solutions that drive excellence across the portfolio.
Strategic Focus- Anticipate future trends and translate them into portfolio-level opportunities and operating priorities that help advance strategic and operational excellence.
- Propose best-fit operating models in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Embed Advanced Customer Experience (ACE) and Future Fit models, capabilities, and practices across Oncology brands.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, strong organizational capability, and disciplined execution. They can translate priorities into clear, actionable plans; interpret and analyze data to inform decisions; and identify process improvements in partnership with multiple stakeholders. Success in this role also requires exceptional communication skills, sound judgment, and a strong sense of accountability.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with INBTs, Areas and key Affiliates to embed ACE through the processes and business discussion touchpoints; review ACE Strategic insights and ACE Pulse performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (advanced degree preferred) in business or biosciences or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of pharmaceutical marketing, brand management, or other relevant experience (digital communication experience is a plus).
- Area and/or Affiliate experience preferred.
- Leadership Team roles.
- Established scientific background and ability to read scientific data to create insights and action.
- Strategic thinker, and ability to anticipate trends and changes in the market.
- Analytical and organizational skills, able to define well-structured strategic plans.
