Job Overview
Right At School is seeking Part‑Time After‑School site staff, called Educators. The role involves supporting students in safe and engaging programs after school across Winnetka School District. The position is part‑time with flexible hours:
Compensation: $16-19 per hour (based on education and experience)
Requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma/GED; at least one year experience working with school‑age children in a school/after‑school setting.
Locations: Inside the Winnetka School District After School Site Locations.
Hours: Monday 2:30‑6:00 pm, Tuesday‑Friday 3:00‑6:00 pm (may vary per school; must be able to work Monday‑Friday).
You’ll Drive The Mission By- Organizing program materials for lessons and activities, and documenting attendance, incidents, and observations.
- Delivering the dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character building.
- Using coursework training and in‑person training, modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain safety and well‑being while supporting homework completion, leading fitness activities, and guiding play.
- Communicating effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
- Meeting regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.
