ESL Teacher
- High School Math Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction to high school students in English as a Second Language, with a focus on math content.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state standards and support language acquisition alongside math skills.
• Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with school staff to support students' academic and language development goals.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois teaching license or certification in ESL or Bilingual Education.
• Prior experience teaching English as a Second Language, preferably at the high school level.
• Strong understanding of math curriculum and instructional strategies for English language learners.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work on-site and engage effectively with diverse student populations.
