The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in either New York City or Chicago areas, responsible for overseeing end-to-end production of luxury events. This role coordinates timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring all design and fabrication elements are produced and installed according to specifications and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing production schedules, supervising vendors and crew, overseeing load-in and strike, and resolving on-site logistical issues.

The Production Manager partners with designers and account leads to translate creative concepts into detailed production plans and technical drawings. This role also maintains inventory, enforces safety protocols, and continuously improves production processes to support efficient, high-impact event execution.

• Experience in event production management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and on-site operations.
• Strong vendor and crew management skills, with the ability to coordinate fabrication partners, rental companies, and logistics providers.
• Proficiency with project management tools, production tracking, and budget monitoring.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and installation methods for event environments.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and creative partners.
• Ability to work on-site for extended hours during event builds, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Commitment to safety and risk management practices in production, installation, and on-site operations.
• Relevant experience in luxury events, experiential marketing, or scenic production is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in production, event management, design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
