* What You’ll Do:

** The
** Manager, Lien Perfection & Collateral Management
** has primary responsibility for the perfection of collateral rights across a variety of collateral types pledged in association with commercial and consumer loans.  Track for proper lien filing and administration, including continuation, full or partial lien release over the life of a loan(s). Responsible for flood insurance tracking, hazard insurance tracking, and monitoring of delinquent taxes on properties in which the bank has a collateral interest.

Ensure confirmation and maintenance of loan eligibility for pledging to the Federal Reserve Bank and Federal Home Loan Bank.

Department Leadership:
* Monitoring daily workflow to ensure necessary functions are processed in a timely manner as outlined above and in line with documented Policies and Procedures
* Defining key performance metrics, monitor trends, and address both internal stakeholder and external customer feedback
* Maintaining and refining department level procedures
* Developing and reporting capacity and performance metrics
* Handling more complex scenarios and escalations as needed

People Development:
* Create a high performing team by providing coaching, career development opportunities and feedback to direct reports and team members
* Establish group and individual team member goals
* Provide team members with appropriate training and support to promote a strong understanding of daily responsibilities and management’s expectations
* Confirm all team members successfully complete mandatory regulatory compliance and related training

Innovation, Efficiency & Process Improvement:
* Optimize daily activities by identifying efficiency opportunities including process changes; staff allocation & upskilling; outsourcing, and technology solutions inclusive of existing vendor tools, artificial intelligence and RPA
* Collaborate with partners (e.g. Product and IT) to improve operating effectiveness
