As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) provide support to the community living arrangements of persons with developmental disabilities to acquire functional living skills needed to live as independently as possible within their homes and communities consistent with their stated needs, goals and choices.
EDUCATIONHigh School diploma or GED
AGEMinimum of 21 years of age
EXPERIENCESix months successful work/volunteer experience with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS- Valid Illinois Driver's License.
- Certificate of Proof of Insurance and maintenance of such at minimum amount of coverage required by law.
- Possess or acquire within first ninety days of employment: self‑administration of medication training and defensive driving.
$18.28 per hour
