Role Overview

The Development & Operations (Dev Ops) Engineer II is responsible for working collaboratively with product and platform teams to create and support rich, interactive applications. They design, code, test, implement, and scale application software and systems, usually as part of an Agile Development Team.

What You Will Do

The Development & Operations (Dev Ops) Engineer II will participate in Agile Team activities, work closely with product teams to define requirements, and perform physical design. They will also develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation solutions, and perform other duties as assigned.

They will be able to work across multiple environments, use modern web development technologies, and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Information Sciences
  • Typically requires 2-5 years of experience in the desired field or may have intermediate level technical or business work experience
  • Experience in an agile environment strongly preferred
  • Relevant certification is strongly preferred
  • Experience with software deployment, release management, or Dev Ops practices
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications within Agile delivery environments
  • Guidewire experience preferred
