- Oversee and manage the delivery of innovative solutions on the Appian platform, ensuring agile project management practices are followed.
- Collaborate closely with sales representatives to drive growth in key accounts, focusing on project management, relationship building, and financial oversight.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement complex technology projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and addressing any risks or issues proactively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with government security requirements, including maintaining an active Top Secret Clearance.
- Work with architects and product designers to translate client needs into technical solutions and application roadmaps.
- Support sales efforts by articulating technical solutions and value propositions to clients.
- Monitor project performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management and clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project delivery.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to client projects.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in agile delivery environments, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of business using financial metrics and tools.
- Strong background in leading agile teams and managing large-scale technology initiatives, working alongside architects and product designers.
- Ability to understand and align technology solutions with customer strategic goals, developing application roadmaps and compelling business cases.
- Familiarity with value selling methodologies and articulating business benefits in proposals and delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building and maintaining strategic stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in industries such as Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Insurance, or Manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of software consulting, particularly in ERP, CRM, BPM/Workflow, Data Integration Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture is advantageous.
- Active Government Top Secret Clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% annually for customer engagements.
- Experience with enterprise architecture and data management.
- Familiarity with government contracting and compliance standards.
- Prior experience working with federal agencies or defense contractors.
- Proficiency in agile project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with financial management tools and metrics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- This position requires in-office work 4 to 5 days a week to enhance collaboration and teamwork.
- Appian offers a competitive salary range between $125,000 and $250,000, along with a government clearance differential. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
