Senior Solution Engineer ut the role Snowflake is seeking a technical expert to drive sales cycles and solve complex data challenges for the Defense Industrial Base. You will act as a bridge between our product capabilities and the specific mission requirements of defense agencies and their partners. Key facts

Full Time Compensation: $165,000 - $216,562 base salary; $260,000 - $288,000 OTE Team:
Public Sector / Department of Defense
- Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations for both executive stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including discovery, proof of concept execution, and architectural design.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and position Snowflake against alternative data solutions.
- Provide feedback to internal product and engineering teams to influence the development roadmap.
- Act as a technical advisor for customers exploring AI integration and data modernization.
- 7 to 8 years of total industry experience, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.
- Direct experience working with Defense Industrial Base accounts, including knowledge of security protocols, contracting, and procurement cycles.
- Proficiency in large-scale data warehousing, ETL, analytics, and cloud architectures such as Data Mesh or Data Fabric.
- Advanced hands-on skills in SQL and Python.
- Ability to map customer business goals to specific technical data architectures.
- Experience using AI-driven coding tools to increase personal output.
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Master degree in Data Science or Business Administration.
- Prior experience working with Global System Integrators like Deloitte, EY, or Accenture.
