The Department of Innovation Technology seeks a Salesforce Release Technician to perform intermediate-level application services work, including release and change coordination for Salesforce development teams. The position involves developing validation scripts, supporting deployments, assisting with project schedules, and maintaining current knowledge of IT developments. This is a union position based in Springfield, Illinois.
Key qualifications- Two years of college coursework in computer science or related fields
- One year of Application Services or Information Technology experience
- One year of professional experience supporting and maintaining Salesforce platform or similar platform
- One year of professional experience with release or change management activities with Salesforce or similar platform
- One year of professional experience with SDLC using Waterfall or Agile methodologies
- One year of professional experience utilizing project management tools such as MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project, or MS Teams
