Senior Analytics & Reporting Consultant – Financial Reporting

• Create business insights and analytics in support of the division
• Provide high-level consultation to users
• Lead cross-functional teams addressing divisional issues
• Design and produce datasets and reports using system reporting tools
• Research and analyze data related to strategic initiatives and broader research needs
• Interface between business and divisional data teams to design and generate actionable analysis and reporting tools
• Build strategic relationships with customers and deepen understanding of divisional data
• Analyze complex business problems using internal and external data to provide strategic insight to decision-makers
• Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets
• May lead functional teams, projects, or decisions supporting reporting and insights
• Verify report accuracy and provide insights

• Bachelor Degree and 5 years’ experience in data analysis and information reporting data OR 7 years experience in data analysis and information reporting data
• 4 years’ project management experience
• Experience utilizing SQL, SAS, Teradata or other reporting tools / languages
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences in written and verbal form
• Initiative to solve complex problems and identify innovative solutions
• Experience working with internal and external data
• Ability to verify report accuracy and provide insights
• Ability to work independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations
• Preferred:
  Accounting degree and 5 years' experience in accounting
• Preferred:
  Oracle financial data analysis
• Preferred:
  Experience in Workiva, Sungard, FIS
• Preferred:
  Experience working in a regulatory setting
• Preferred:
  Financial reporting experience

Demonstrates expertise in data analysis and reporting, utilizing SQL, SAS, and Teradata to generate actionable insights. Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and lead cross-functional teams in strategic initiatives.
