Director, Vertical Risk Lead, Card Data – Platforms

• Lead the vertical risk management function for Card Data & Platforms, covering data management, data products, and platform controls
• Lead a team of Vertical Risk Managers
• Act as a thought leader across the enterprise to develop and implement Risk solutions
• Work with business partners to validate risk processes impacting the company's bottom line
• Consult with Executives to determine interaction models with Lines of Business
• Drive finalization of risk category and subcategory frameworks
• Perform critical assessments on risk categories to mitigate company risk
• Conduct extensive gap assessments and create recommendations for business decisions
• Use analytical skills for Risk Process Improvement, Process Design, and Process Excellence
• Manage large-scale process management and governance
• Work with dynamic teams on departmental process management and execution
• Partner with Executives and lines of business to drive organizational change and improve risk management

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• At least 7 years of experience working in risk management in financial services or technology
• At least 5 years of program management experience
• At least 5 years supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients
• At least 5 years of people management experience
• At least 3 years of experience in reporting and analyzing data
• At least 2 years of data risk management or data product management experience
• Preferred:
  Master’s Degree
• Preferred: 7+ years of Financial Services or Technology risk management experience
• Preferred: 7+ years of experience in Project or Process Management
• Preferred: 5+ years of internal strategy or management consulting experience leading cross-functional financial services projects and programs
• Preferred: 7+ years of people management experience
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in reporting and analyzing data
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in data risk management or data product management
