Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.
Preparation of quotation requests:
- Must be a TEAM Player as measured by his/her peers
- Receive quote via email, fax, Fed Ex, mail, carry in, and verbal via phone
- Review quote requests with Sales Manager and Production Manager to determine that delivery and schedule requirements requested by the customer can be met.
- Review and determine best process to quote in order of completion deadline
- Determine if quote requirement is in alignment to MAH’s capabilities, if not send a no quote to the customer immediately.
- If the request for quote is determined to be in line with MAH’s capacity the quotation process is then initiated. Review all drawings to determine the materials and type of manufacturing processes needed. Request material and outside prices from the various approved vendors. Establish machining processes and calculate programming, set‑up and running time for each part.
- Calculate all internal and external costs, determine a final price and present a formal quote as requested to the customer through the Visual Manufacturing System (ERP).
- Minimum 5 years experience determining manufacturing costs by evaluating manufacturing processes, equipment, and material costs.
- Education:
Proven Machining background or degree in manufacturing. - Technical Ability:
Advanced Microsoft Office
Skills:
Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint. - Detail Oriented:
Possess a demonstrated history of attention to detail.
