Experienced Nurse Supervisor RN
We’re seeking a compassionate, experienced, and team-oriented Nurse Supervisor to lead and support our nursing staff. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise, strong leadership, and sound judgment. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality care while fostering a collaborative and caring environment for staff and residents alike.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the daily activities of clinical staff across nursing units.
Make daily rounds to assess resident care and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Prepare and administer medications per physician orders and facility policy.
Maintain accurate resident records for admissions, discharges, transfers, and ongoing care.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels across units and reassign as needed.
Collaborate with charge nurses to address resident care, conditions, and concerns.
Respond to medical emergencies and incidents throughout the facility.
Promote teamwork and model ethical, compassionate care.
Support compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and best practices.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Active RN license in good standing, as required by the state.
Prior supervisory/management experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting required.
Ability to work weekends as needed.
Compliant with state Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to make sound independent decisions and adapt under pressure.
Knowledge of nursing/medical procedures and healthcare facility regulations.
