Your background should include:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
• Previous experience in pediatric, public health, or school nursing preferred
• Confidence managing medication administration and first aid
• Ability to perform screenings, health assessments, and handle medical emergencies
• Clear communication skills with students, parents, and teachers
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with applicable health regulations and privacy guidelines a plus

What you'll do:

• Oversee day-to-day health needs of students, responding to illnesses and injuries
• Implement any necessary individualized healthcare plans and allergy protocols
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects or reactions
• Conduct hearing, vision, or other routine health screenings
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Advise staff on best practices for infection prevention and student health needs
• Serve as a resource for students, staff, and families on wellness topics
