QC Chemist

A personal care company is seeking a QC Chemist to support daily quality operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing laboratory testing, inspecting materials, reviewing production documentation, maintaining quality records, and ensuring compliance with cGMP standards.

• Perform physical and chemical testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Review batch records and production documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, samples, and quality records.
• Communicate test results and quality concerns to internal teams.
• Follow cGMP, safety procedures, and company quality standards.
• Support laboratory organization and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• 0-2 years of laboratory experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with cGMP and laboratory instrumentation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
