Your role will be vital in creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. • Bag groceries at checkout while ensuring contents are bagged securely and efficiently.
• Strive to optimize bagging by fitting at least five items per bag without damage.
• Assist customers by removing their merchandise from the bottom of the bascart and offering help with loading bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to store shelves.
• Notify customers about grocery specials and promotions.
• Gather bascarts and ensure they are returned to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness within the store, including cleaning spills and collecting trash inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise effectively.
• Understand store layout, assist with locating products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Comply with safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to all food safety regulations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting any issues to management.
• Create a warm, welcoming environment for customers by addressing their inquiries about products.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment and manage conflicts in a constructive manner.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and elderly customers as needed.
• Perform all essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation: $15.25 - $15.55 per hour.
