Position OverviewAre you a recent college graduate looking to launch a lucrative career in B2B corporate sales? Elegant Packaging is seeking a high-energy, ambitious Junior Sales Representative to join our team on-site in Cicero.
You don’t need years of corporate sales experience—we will teach you the industry. Working directly on-site at our manufacturing facility, you will learn the ins and outs of custom manufacturing, handle inbound client inquiries, and proactively build relationships with corporate buyers. This is a foundational role with a direct, fast-track path to a senior Account Executive position.

We specialize in designing and manufacturing made‑to‑order high-quality, customized bags and soft‑good solutions—ranging from industrial or medical equipment bags, pharmaceutical sales kits, OEM products, luxury and specialized industrial sewn accessories for OEM customers. We take pride in our local craftsmanship, fast turnaround times, and ability to manufacture unique textile visions to exact client specifications.
Key Responsibilities (We will train you on all of this!)- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Use digital tools (Linked In, industry directories, cold calling) to find and connect with procurement managers, product developers, and corporate buyers.
- Inbound Query Management: Act as the first point of contact for businesses reaching out to Elegant Packaging for custom manufacturing quotes.
- Consultative Discovery: Research and contact prospective clients to gather their specific design needs and generate new business. Research and present prospective clients from new industries to the management team.
- Production Liaison: Collaborate directly with our design and prototyping teams to bring your clients' bag concepts to life.
- Deal Closure & Account Growth: Present pricing proposals, coordinate product samples, and ensure clients have a seamless experience from prototype to final delivery.
- Medical & Pharmaceutical: Custom pharmaceutical carry‑all bags and medical equipment transport bags.
- Trades & Industrial: Heavy‑duty, technical tool bags built for commercial environments.
- Sports, Leisure & EDC: Premium, feature‑rich sports gear bags and high‑end everyday carry‑all bags
- Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in communication, marketing, business, or another related field. (Recent graduates from local institutions are highly encouraged to apply!).
- Drive & Grit: A strong work ethic, competitive spirit, and the resilience needed to pick up the phone and prospect new business.
- Communication: Elite verbal and written communication skills—you must be comfortable speaking professionally with corporate executives.
- Coachability: A willingness to learn technical manufacturing concepts, absorb sales feedback, and adapt quickly.
- Team‑Oriented – Thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with a passion for achieving team goals.
- Tech‑Savvy – Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Linked In, and other basic media.
- Location – Ability to work reliably on‑site at our Cicero, IL facility Monday through Friday.
