Desired Experience &

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• State licensure or eligibility for school social work certification
• Recent experience working with children or adolescents in a school or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of social-emotional learning principles and crisis intervention
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs, creating interventions that support academic and personal growth
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to develop, implement, and monitor individualized support plans
• Deliver counseling-both individual and small group-targeted toward fostering coping strategies, conflict management, and positive peer relationships
• Serve as a valuable liaison connecting families with community and school-based resources
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and student support initiatives
• Provide crisis response and intervention, offering immediate assistance and referrals as needed
