Bilingual Intake Coordinator

Duration: 3-year contract (W2, benefits offered)

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Work Location: Cicero, IL (onsite, Fridays remote)

Requirements:

HS diploma or GED

1+ year of experience in customer service, case management, or related field

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for home visits or community events

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Plusses:

Experience working with public-facing or municipal programs

Familiarity with income qualification and eligibility determinations

Experience performing duplication of benefits calculations

Exposure to environmental reviews or housing assistance programs

Community outreach experience

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking Intake Specialists for a municipal client supporting a community-based assistance program. These candidates will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, guiding them through the application process while ensuring accurate eligibility determinations, income verification, and compliance documentation. The ideal candidate is bilingual, detail-oriented, comfortable working directly with the public, and able to work onsite with occasional field responsibilities.

This role is critical in ensuring residents receive timely and accurate access to program resources.

Day-to-Day:

Assist the public with completing program applications

Perform income qualification and eligibility determinations

Conduct duplication of benefits calculations

Complete and support environmental reviews

Maintain accurate and organized applicant files

Respond to applicant questions and concerns

Coordinate with construction specialists and internal staff

Participate in home visits and community outreach events as needed
