Maintenance Assistant

We're seeking an entry-level, full-time Maintenance Assistant to provide support to the overall operations at Beechmont Automotive Group. This unique role also gets the opportunity to work with Johnny’s Creamy Whip, our ice cream business. This role is multifaceted and requires an individual who can adapt to changing demands, enjoys a variety of tasks, and is willing to take on different responsibilities on a daily basis.

• Maintain and perform routine maintenance tasks and general repairs. Examples of tasks include general maintenance, painting, supporting outside contractors, and other tasks as assigned.
• Collaborating with various departments on assigned projects
• Working events and serving ice cream to customers
• Setting up ice cream units
• Towing a trailer to events throughout Greater Cincinnati
• Driving trucks to events throughout Greater Cincinnati
• Cleaning the trailer and trucks before returning to the warehouse
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Competes additional reasonable tasks and duties as required.
• Occasionally expected to complete assigned custodial tasks promptly.
• Occasionally expected to assist the ground crew as assigned

• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic understanding of maintenance procedures
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience
• Experience driving large vehicles or towing a trailer is preferred
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred but unnecessary; we will train the right person.
• Ability to work independently or assist with projects
• Occasional evening and/or weekend work and/or overtime as required.
