THE ROLE:
Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for an Event based Part‑Time Housekeeper / Conversion Crew Team Member at the First Financial Center. The dual role combines housekeeping duties with event or facility conversion tasks, ensuring spaces are clean, safe, and efficiently prepared for daily use and special events.
- Perform inspections:
Check rooms, public areas, and event spaces for cleanliness, safety, and readiness. - Perform inspections and demonstrate proper cleaning techniques, safe equipment use, and event setup procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments:
Work with Operations, Engineering, Food & Bev, Audio Visual, IT and Event Management to meet operational needs. - Ensure adequate stock of cleaning materials and safe use of machinery.
- Handle guest or client concerns:
Respond to issues promptly and professionally. - Set up and strike event inventory such as tables, chairs, staging, air walls, barricades, pipe and drape, dance floor and other equipment.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, vacuum, clean all surfaces, empty trash, and operate trash and recycling compactors as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness, dusting, and maintenance of various areas throughout the facility.
- Inform Supervisor and Manager on status of work and review work orders, completing tasks within the time period provided.
- Maintain supply rooms and equipment in an orderly fashion and use equipment and supplies as instructed.
- Assist with proper storage of all event related equipment as directed.
- Assist with cleaning and minor maintenance of all cleaning and housekeeping machinery and equipment.
- Perform deep cleaning and housekeeping projects such as carpet extraction, floor stripping, sanitization, waste removal, window cleaning and other projects as directed.
- Report damages to equipment in a timely manner to Supervisor.
- Perform preventative maintenance work on equipment, storage rooms and other areas as directed.
- Maintain inventory logs and department checklists as directed.
- Adhere to all Facility rules, regulations, safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Work flexible hours, which could include evenings, nights, holidays and weekends as dictated by event activity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least 6 months’ experience within housekeeping, conversion crew, or set‑up roles, preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Familiar with basic cleaning products, tools, and housekeeping practices.
- Experience in a similar facility setting is preferred but not required.
- Maintain a driver’s license or have willingness to obtain one for required equipment operation.
- Prior role in housekeeping, custodial, or facilities management.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including communication via radio.
- Professional appearance.
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive housekeeping and certain event setup tasks without immediate supervision.
- Ability to take direction and complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
- Ability to operate various cleaning machines and equipment within the Center.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently without direct supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, which could include evenings, nights, holidays and weekends as dictated by event activity.
This role offers an hourly rate up to $18 per hour, scheduling dependent on event demands. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Working ConditionsOn-site at First Financial Center, Cincinnati, OH.
Physical DemandsRequires standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods; frequent transitions between housekeeping and event conversion tasks; irregular hours aligned with event schedules; both indoor and outdoor settings.
