Episcopal Retirement Services is looking for a Groundskeeper to maintain our grounds year‑round. The role includes daily maintenance duties, snow removal, equipment handling, and support during emergencies.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience handling plants and chemicals.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; necessary vision and hearing capabilities or prosthetics that enable performance of duties.
- Valid driver’s license and maintained auto insurance.
- Physical ability to move equipment and supplies up to 75 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Willingness to work independently with flexibility and to collaborate harmoniously with team members, residents, volunteers, contractors, government personnel, and the public.
- Up‑to‑date on required vaccinations.
Responsibilities
- Perform day‑to‑day grounds functions as assigned, following work assignments.
- Maintain assigned work areas clean and safe; properly store tools and equipment.
- Handle all snow removal and salting of parking lots and walkways.
- Keep grounds clean daily and remove trash or debris.
- Assist residents and direct them during emergencies and evacuations.
- Support the maintenance department as directed by supervisor.
- Attend in‑services, educational sessions, and resident grounds committee meetings.
- Drive company vehicles and valet park guest cars as required.
- Coordinate daily grounds duties with residents to minimize disturbances.
