- Providing a variety of technical services, including electrical, controls, and mechanical support to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve automated production equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards by identifying and correcting unsafe conditions and completing safety review checklists.
- Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment promptly to minimize downtime, performing scheduled preventative maintenance, and updating preventative maintenance requirements as necessary.
- Training and mentoring production associates on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
- Assisting with updates to equipment-related SOPs to ensure accuracy of written instructions.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to reduce costs, enhance quality, and ensure product availability.
- Participating in site continuous improvement activities such as PPI and Lean initiatives.
- Have a High School Diploma (advanced education in a scientific field preferred).
- Hold a technical certification (a plus).
- Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of electrical experience or a combination of experience and education in electrical or industrial maintenance environments.
- Demonstrate strong foundational skills in electrical troubleshooting and experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Are capable of troubleshooting automated equipment, electronics, sensors, motors, servos, and pneumatics.
- Have hands‑on experience with automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Exhibit strong mechanical skills including disassembly, repairs, and reassembly of complex equipment, as well as proficient use of hand and power tools.
- Possess working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, electrical systems, and industrial automation.
- Are knowledgeable in general construction, repair, and maintenance practices and techniques.
