Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Summary
Service Center Repair Technician II is an entry‑level, individual contributor role in Service & Repair that supports troubleshooting complaints, performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and verification testing of capital medical devices.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, disassembly/reassembly, calibration, functional and safety testing, and resolve equipment problems for surgical products.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and company policies.
- Assist with equipment validation, resolve non‑conforming product issues, maintain inventory, and meet service goals.
- Follow all safety requirements and collaborate with team members to identify equipment issues, communicate concerns, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Education:
Technical Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred. - Required:
Basic knowledge of electrical components. - Basic verbal and written communication skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform problem‑solving tasks using test equipment, hand tools, and fixtures.
- Preferred: 2+ years of related experience in the medical device industry or other regulated fields.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $41,000.00 - $66,700.00. Additional benefits include eligibility for the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)), long‑term incentive program, and time‑off benefits such as vacation, sick time, holiday pay, work‑personal and family time, parental leave, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, and military spouse time‑off.
