Sanitation Assistant Lead
The Sanitation Assistant Lead is responsible for overseeing cleaning and sanitation processes within the facility to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This role includes developing and implementing sanitation procedures, training and guiding team members, monitoring equipment and supplies, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with other departments are essential.

Lead and supervise the sanitation team to ensure the facility remains clean and safe.
Develop and implement sanitation procedures in compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular inspections to identify areas requiring cleaning, maintenance, or corrective action.
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Train, coach, and educate the sanitation team on proper procedures and safety protocols.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure sanitation processes align with production schedules.
Document and maintain accurate records of sanitation procedures, inspections, and corrective actions.
Investigate and resolve sanitation-related issues or complaints in a timely manner.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday – Friday, with flexibility for weekends or overtime as needed.
1st Shift 4 am / 6 am start time - 8 hours plus OT
Pay Rate: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in sanitation or a related field.
Knowledge of sanitation regulations, procedures, and best practices.
Ability to develop and implement sanitation programs.
Strong leadership skills with prior team management experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely and effective decisions.
Flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules as needed.
