As a Facility Janitor, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment by supporting the upkeep of the facility, equipment, and grounds. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, you will assist with cleaning, basic maintenance tasks, and general facility support while learning valuable maintenance skills. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, eager to learn, and interested in building experience in facility maintenance.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.

Experience Requirements:
Entry-level opportunity. Basic math skills. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic mechanical aptitude. Willingness to learn hands-on maintenance skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Duties:

Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility and surrounding grounds. Assist with basic facility and equipment maintenance. Support day-to-day upkeep projects as assigned. Follow safety procedures and company guidelines. Report maintenance concerns and facility issues. Help ensure a safe and organized work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience cleaning commercial, industrial, office, healthcare, educational, or manufacturing facilities is preferred. Experience operating floor care equipment, buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is beneficial. Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and pride in their work are well positioned for success as a Facility Janitor.

Physical Capabilities:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment. Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.
