Test Pipe​/Structural Weld Instructor

Position Description Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor students in pipe and structural welding processes
• Teach proper welding techniques, blueprint reading, and fabrication fundamentals
• Ensure all students follow welding safety standards and shop procedures
• Evaluate weld quality and provide constructive feedback
• Assist with weld testing preparation and skills development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment
• Help students build confidence and prepare for real-world industrial work environments

• Strong background in pipe and/or structural welding
• Experience with SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and MIG processes preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Prior teaching or mentoring experience is a plus, but not required
• AWS certifications are preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Must be dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
