We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team in our 80-bed, five-star facility. In this role, you will help create a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our Sisters. Your work directly contributes to their dignity, well-being, and quality of life each day. Here, housekeeping is more than cleaning — it is an important part of caring for our Sisters.

1st Shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

Full-time – 40 hours/week

Monday – Friday

Weekend rotation every fifth weekend

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas by washing furnishings and equipment and mopping floors with special cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease. Uses damp, disinfectant-treated clothes and vacuum cleaner to dust windowsills, blinds, floors, furniture, and equipment in an orderly fashion. Scours and polishes sinks, tubs, mirrors, and other equipment.
• Assembles materials and supplies from the supply room and transports them to the work area via a cleaning cart.
• Replenishes supplies of soap, towels, and other dispensable items.
• Reports on mechanical failures or negative conditions observed in assigned area to the Director of Housekeeping.
• Gathers and disposes of trash, washes wastebaskets and large refuse containers, and relines with plastic bags.
• Removes soiled linens, towels, beddings.
• Periodically polishes floors with a buffing and polishing machine.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs. and stand for long periods
• Reliable and punctual
• Commitment to maintaining resident privacy and dignity
• Must be able to pass background checks per state regulations
