Arcola Creek Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team! Our Housekeeping team plays an important role in creating a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff.

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas.
• Follow established housekeeping schedules and cleaning procedures.
• Perform routine dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and other floor-care activities.
• Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces and frequently used areas.
• Properly handle and dispose of trash and other waste according to facility procedures.
• Replenish cleaning and bathroom supplies as needed.
• Follow infection prevention and control practices and facility safety procedures.
• Use cleaning products, equipment, and chemicals safely and appropriately.
• Report maintenance, safety, or environmental concerns to the appropriate department.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized housekeeping supply area.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity, belongings, and personal space while completing assigned duties.
• Interact with residents, families, visitors, and staff in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, and other departments to support the overall needs of the facility.
• Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned.

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, assisted living, or long-term care setting is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Compassionate and respectful approach when working around residents.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect resident privacy.
