Position Summary

Ohio Christian University is seeking a qualified Director of Maintenance to oversee and manage the maintenance team on our campus in Circleville, Ohio. Under the direction of the Executive Director of Operations, the Director of Maintenance is responsible for all facilities on the campus including coordinating maintenance and repair services and adhering to all safety policies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To maintain, fix, repair, and replace all building and grounds items to ensure efficient and safe operating procedures.
  • Manage time, personnel, and projects.
  • Building maintenance.
  • Manage and update the Maintenance Work Order System.
  • Problem‑solve maintenance issues.
  • Order parts.
  • Prepare cost estimates and project projections.
  • Snow removal and grounds support (labor and management).
  • Act as a consultant for new construction (construction methods and products).
  • Support campus events.
  • Assist outside contractors as needed.
  • Support athletic field maintenance in conjunction with the Grounds Department.
  • Be available on evenings and weekends as the need arises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Physical requirements:

    able to lift 25 pounds, perform repairs, and traverse property and facilities to diagnose building issues.
