Maintenance Technician
This position's responsibilities focus around the upkeep and repair of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery, performing routine maintenance checks, assisting in diagnosing malfunctions, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic systems, replacing parts as needed, and ensuring machines operate efficiently to minimize production downtime. Primary duties include conducting all duties with safety as the highest priority, ensuring safety compliance, adhering to preventative maintenance schedules, and replacing parts.
Additionally, the technician will clean and fill coolant tanks, empty chip hoppers, and assist in facilities maintenance as needed.
Qualifications include attention to detail, demonstrated critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle complex machines and tools. Computer literacy is also required. Minimum experience and education include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of proficient experience in a CNC machine maintenance role or CNC service tech certifications. Physical requirements include the ability to be on your feet for multiple hours a day, safely lift 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and perform various physical tasks such as walking, carrying, reaching, sitting, standing, and using hands for pushing/pulling.
