Maintenance Technician

CF Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician, Rotating Equipment to maintain and repair critical mechanical systems supporting our software and data infrastructure. You will troubleshoot and service pumps, compressors, HVAC, and related rotating machinery in our on-site data and lab facilities. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, vibration monitoring, equipment alignment, parts replacement, and documenting work in a CMMS. You'll collaborate with engineers and IT teams to minimize downtime, support continuous improvement, and uphold safety, quality, and reliability standards in a highly technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, compressors, fans, and other rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to quickly restore equipment and minimize downtime.
• Conduct vibration monitoring, equipment alignment, and balancing to improve reliability.
• Inspect systems, identify parts needs, and coordinate repairs and replacements.
• Document all work, findings, and parts usage in a CMMS system.
• Collaborate with engineers, facilities, and IT teams to support data center and lab operations.
• Follow and promote strict safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE use.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and lifecycle.
