Night Custodian – Mon‑Fri, 211 Days

Clarkston High School – Clarkston, Washington

Full‑Time, $23.22 to $25.23 per hour.

Keep school building and rooms clean and orderly. Tend furnace, air conditioner, and boiler while performing the following duties:

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums classrooms, gymnasium, cafeteria, hallways, stairs and office space.
• Empties trash and garbage containers.
• Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities. Replaces air conditioner filters.
• Notifies administration concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks as required.
• Prepares rooms for meetings and programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: previous custodial work experience.
• Fingerprint background check required.
• Must pass a criminal background check meeting state, federal, and Clarkston School District standards.
• Must have or obtain a current, valid CPR / First Aid certificate.
• Safe Schools Training is required and must be completed before start date.

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operations, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports.
• Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratio, percent).
• Reasoning ability to apply common sense and solve problems in standardized situations.
• Physical ability to walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally; vision requirements as described.

Moderate noise; occasionally outdoor weather conditions.
