Evening Custodian – Fine Arts & Athletic Facilities

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Contract:

250-day custodial salary schedule

Summary:

The Evening Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within the Fine Arts Center and Athletic Facilities. This position ensures all assigned areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and prepared for daily use and scheduled events.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, classrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors (including gym floors as directed)
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout assigned areas
• Clean and secure entrances, hallways, and event spaces
• Set up and tear down for events, practices, and performances as needed
• Monitor building security and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
• Follow all district safety procedures and guidelines

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
• Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks required for custodial work
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
