SALARY: $13.00 / HOUR

SECOND SHIFT

HOURS:

5:00 PM - 1:30 AM

DAYS: MONDAY - SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY

REPORTING/OFFICE: 426 A MOORE ALLEY, CLARKSVILLE, TN 37040

We are looking for a Custodian who will be responsible for cleaning retail locations. The custodian will be required to follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and should have the necessary skills and abilities to perform defined tasks.

Primary Duties:

  • Collect all garbage and recyclables from the assigned locations and place them in the correct disposal dumpster
  • Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and fixtures daily with a germicidal solution
  • Wet mops all washable floors, including restrooms, stairwells, elevators, office areas, and storage areas
  • Cleans glass and windows (inside and outside) when require

    Cleans office areas and building entrances
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas and dust mop corridors
  • Dust,clean, and sanitize other surfaces
  • Refills paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap in all dispensers
  • Complete and maintain housekeeping log according to the schedule
  • Participates in emergency drills and environmental safety activities, as requested
  • Attends and participates in worksite safety and in-service training
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Desired Experience/

Education:
  • Experience in the custodial field
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning methods
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to comply and pass a background check as required by the contract
  • Willing to submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to physically move through the worksite
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods as well as stoop, squat, lift, carry, and push
  • Wear protective equipment, such as latex gloves and safety glasses, per OSHA regulations, is required.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Health insurance
